Dirt: Showdown

• Racing : Includes a variety of competitions with regular circuit racing, points racing where the track is divided into sectors with points awarded for the fastest time in each, and elimination where a timer counts down the time the last driver is eliminated until there is only one left. In this mode, there are often obstacles and debris on the track.

• Demolition : Focuses on eliminating opponents either in regular head-to-head bowling (Rampage) or on an elevated track where other cars can be knocked off the high ground (Knock Out). There is also a survival mode (Hard Target), in which the player’s car becomes a target for others, and 8-Ball, which is a circuit race with several intersections where cars can collide.

• Hoonigan : Similar to the Gymkhana mode from DiRT 3. The goal is to score points by performing tricks either alone (Trick Rush) or against an opponent (Head 2 Head). The third mode is Smash Hunter, in which the car needs to break through team-colored bricks and avoid colliding with others.

• Party : only available in multiplayer. It contains Smash & Grab, where the team can grab loot and must hold onto it. He is lost when an opponent crashes into a car. Transporter is a regular capture the flag, and Speed ​​Skirmish is a time-based event where checkpoints must be reached in any order.
The game offers split-screen multiplayer for two players and up to eight players online. It includes the Racenet social service for tracking stats, as well as a crash replay feature that allows you to capture crashes and upload them directly to YouTube.
