Additional information :

• Your people have lived underground for generations. They forgot what the warmth of the sun’s rays, soft soil underfoot and the omnipresent annoying flies are like. Full of confusion, they came to the surface and only know how to grow one crop – potatoes.

• Restore civilization by building huts, growing…potatoes, and populating other continents and eventually planets. Distribute resources, discover ancient technologies and create a planetary network of colonies to achieve prosperity in your solar system.

• But the universe is not safe. Ancient guardians demand attention and challenge your cities. The planets you inhabit are scarred by the catastrophes that drove your ancestors underground, and these catastrophes will severely punish unprepared worlds.

• There is (almost) no violence in Before We Leave. There are no weapons or battles with neighbors for control of resources. However, you can die from the fins of the gigantic space whales that inhabit your worlds and swallow entire planets, threatening your civilization.

• Play, enjoy the process and expand your restored society at your own pace to create your own solar system with restored planets. Just watch out for those pesky giant intergalactic plankton eaters.
