CICADAMATA is a fast-paced first-person action-platformer set in a surreal cybernetic world where you are recruited as a “CICADA” and thrown into a high-mobility combat-training program. You wake up inside a system known as CASCADE, where your identity has been replaced with a mission directive: move, fight, and adapt. Across abstract environments filled with shifting geometry and hostile entities, you gradually uncover fragments of a strange digital order that seems to control everything around you.
Gameplay focuses on fluid movement and speedrunning-style traversal, combining wall-running, jumping, dashing, and momentum-based navigation with fast combat encounters. Each level challenges you to optimize routes, clear objectives, and improve completion times while unlocking new abilities and modifiers that expand your mobility toolkit. Leaderboards and replay-driven progression encourage mastery of each stage, turning every run into a test of precision, timing, and movement efficiency.
