     Method 1: Edit the Configuration File

     1. Open your Dark Souls 2 main installation directory, where the game launcher .exe file is located.
     2. Look for a configuration file named steam_api.ini, steam_emu.ini, or ali213.ini.
     3. Right-click the file and open it with Notepad.
     4. Press Ctrl + F and search for the word Language.
     5. Change the value next to it to your preferred language. For example, change Language=russian to Language=english.
     6. Save the file by pressing Ctrl + S and relaunch the game.

     Method 2: Check for a Language Switcher Executable

     1. Check the root directory of your game for an application named Language Selector.exe, Changelanguage.exe, or a similar shortcut.
     2. Run the language switcher as an administrator.
     3. Select your preferred language from the drop-down menu.
     4. Click Save and launch the game.

     Method 3: Goldberg Emulator Global Settings

     If the repack uses a Goldberg Steam Emulator, editing the local configuration files may not work. In this case, you may need to change the global language setting.

     1. Navigate to the following directory:

     C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\settings\

     Note: The AppData folder is hidden by default. You may need to enable Hidden items in Windows File Explorer.

     2. Open the language.txt file with Notepad.
     3. Delete the current text inside the file.
     4. Enter english and save the file.
     5. Relaunch the game and check whether the language has changed.

     If you are having trouble finding a specific file, check the files inside your game folder or look for an error message when saving the configuration file.
