Dead Weight is a turn-based roguelite RPG that trades the open sea for the skies, putting you in command of a flying pirate ship in a steampunk world threatened by awakening Ancient Gods. Before each expedition, you’ll choose a character, assemble a crew, stock up on fuel, and set off to explore floating islands filled with treasure, forgotten ruins, and dangerous enemies. Every journey presents new opportunities and risks, encouraging you to balance exploration with careful preparation as you uncover the world’s hidden secrets.

Combat takes place on compact tactical battlefields where positioning and planning are just as important as the abilities you bring into the fight. As you progress, you can upgrade your ship, train your crew, unlock new skills, and experiment with different equipment to create builds that suit your preferred strategy.
