High Times is a cozy dating and cooking simulation where you run The Hotbox, a unique donut shop where food can literally change people’s emotions. Each customer arrives with their own problems, relationships, and personal struggles, and it’s your job to listen to their stories and prepare donuts infused with the right mood-enhancing effects. As you get to know the people who visit your shop, you’ll help them deal with heartbreak, rebuild relationships, and work through difficult moments one donut at a time.
Running the shop involves cooking donuts, fulfilling orders, collecting tips, discovering recipes, unlocking new tools, and decorating your store. You can meet more than 30 customers, including six romanceable characters, with your dialogue choices and the donuts you serve affecting relationships and leading to multiple possible endings. The main character can also be customized, while fully voiced characters and more than 70 animated comic-book-style illustrations bring the story to life. High Times combines cooking, shop management, romance, visual-novel storytelling, and choice-driven gameplay into a lighthearted experience centered around helping people find a little happiness.
