Ledgerbound is a turn based tactical RPG that puts you in the unusual role of an insurance adjuster in a fantasy kingdom. When an ancient enemy threatens the world, your comfortable desk job gets replaced by battlefield duty. You’ll recruit a group of odd but likable heroes, deal with paperwork and company problems, and somehow find time to protect the kingdom from an immortal enemy. The story mixes fantasy adventure with workplace comedy, romance, and plenty of choices that can affect how things play out.
Combat focuses on careful positioning and tactical decisions, with each battle presenting its own problems to solve. The enemies known as the Vacari return stronger after being defeated, so you’ll need to keep adapting your approach rather than relying on the same strategy every time. Outside of battles, you can spend your limited free time improving your characters, building relationships with your teammates, or working toward your next promotion. Ledgerbound takes the usual fantasy hero story and gives it a funny workplace twist, where saving the world is important, but apparently so is keeping up with your paperwork.
