Mewgenics is a turn-based tactical roguelite where you build and command an ever-growing army of mutant cats. Set in Boon County, the game has you assemble teams from your household, equip them with different class-specific collars, and send them on dangerous adventures for food, money, and treasure. Each cat can develop its own abilities, traits, scars, and mutations, creating a constantly changing roster that can become increasingly strange and powerful as generations pass.

Combat focuses on careful positioning, ability combinations, and interactions with the environment, with more than 1,000 abilities, 900 items, and over 200 enemies and bosses providing plenty of room for experimentation. Cats that return from adventures gain experience and can pass unusual skills and genetic traits to their offspring, allowing you to breed stronger teams for future runs. You can also upgrade your home, make difficult choices about which cats to keep, and build increasingly specialized bloodlines. Mewgenics combines tactical combat, breeding, character progression, and roguelite experimentation into a deep strategy game where no two generations of cats need to be alike.
