The Thing That Happened is an open-world third-person action adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world where survival depends on exploration, combat, and careful resource management. As you explore the city and its surroundings, you’ll uncover valuable resources while fighting to stay alive in a harsh and unforgiving environment.
Combat offers a variety of ways to deal with the dangers ahead, allowing you to equip different weapons, customize them with attachments, develop close-combat skills, and craft useful equipment as you progress. Exploration plays an equally important role, encouraging you to search ruined locations, gather supplies, and strengthen your character for the challenges that lie ahead.
