Feed The Pit is a story-driven investigative horror game where you become part of a mysterious society that sends you into the dangerous forests of Carrister Valley. Your task is to hunt down wealthy individuals and offer them to a mysterious entity known only as the Pit. Using a deck of magical cards, you’ll investigate each target’s whereabouts, explore the dark wilderness, and uncover a strange story involving faith, secret societies, and the true purpose behind the Pit. The game combines first-person exploration with a dark, retro-inspired atmosphere and a branching narrative with multiple possible endings.
Finding your targets is handled through a unique card-based investigation system. Each card asks a different question about the target’s location, allowing you to gradually narrow down the search while working with a limited hand. Every mission also introduces a different monster that acts as your nemesis, forcing you to study its behavior, take risks, and figure out how to survive while completing your investigation. Feed The Pit is currently structured around Act 1, with Acts 2 and 3 planned as free updates, making it a compact horror experience that combines investigation, puzzles, roguelite elements, survival, and dark humor.
