Feed the Scorchpot is a turn-based roguelite strategy game where you make a deal with a dragon: in exchange for twenty years of protection, you must provide it with a steady supply of meals. Each year, you’ll roll dice to work your island, harvest ingredients, and combine them into recipes before cooking them in the Scorchpot. The dragon becomes increasingly demanding as the years pass, so building an efficient island and producing enough food is essential if you want to survive the full contract.
You can place farms, shrines, harbors, and other buildings across a hex-grid island to create powerful scoring combinations, with more than 50 buildings and 80 recipes available to mix and upgrade. Different dice types can alter how your island produces resources, while recipes can increase Flavor and Essence to multiply your Fodder score. Feed the Scorchpot also encourages risky strategies, as staying longer increases the difficulty and can lead to the dragon damaging your carefully built board. With hand-drawn artwork and a gameplay loop centered around dice, cooking, board building, and increasingly powerful combos, it offers a cozy-looking but surprisingly demanding roguelite strategy experience.
