Half Sword is a physics-based medieval combat simulator set in 15th-century Europe, where you rise from a commoner to a knight by fighting your way through brutal tournaments. Battles are built around realistic weapon handling and historically accurate arms and armor, with your mouse controlling the movement of your weapon as you strike, block, and maneuver against opponents. Every fight is dangerous, and a single mistake can leave you badly injured or end your character’s life permanently.
Winning battles earns you renown and wealth that can be used to purchase better equipment or forge weapons and armor suited to your fighting style. You can compete in different brawls and tournaments, bet on your own success for greater rewards, and learn a combat system influenced by Historical European Martial Arts techniques. Half Sword focuses heavily on physical interaction and realistic consequences, with detailed damage, dismemberment, and brutal medieval combat making every encounter feel unpredictable. The game is currently in Early Access, with additional maps, improved gore, forging mechanics, and heraldry customization planned for future updates.
