Hitman: Absolution follows Agent 47 after he is given a job that puts him in conflict with the organization he once worked for. When a former colleague becomes his target, 47 finds himself caught in a much larger situation involving betrayal, dangerous criminals, and people determined to hunt him down. The story takes him across a variety of locations, from quiet streets and hotels to heavily guarded compounds, as he tries to complete his objectives while protecting someone who has become important to him.
You can approach missions in different ways depending on how you want to play. Agent 47 can disguise himself to move through restricted areas, sneak past guards, create distractions, or eliminate targets using weapons and objects found throughout the environment. The Instinct system helps him identify points of interest and predict enemy movements, while the Contracts Mode lets you create your own assassination challenges and share them with other players. Hitman: Absolution puts more emphasis on its cinematic story than some earlier entries, but still gives you plenty of room to decide how each target is dealt with.
