HumanitZ is an isometric, open-world survival game set in a world devastated by a zombie outbreak, where the remaining humans are struggling to survive against hordes of infected known as zeeks. You can explore ruined cities and remote wilderness areas while scavenging for supplies, hunting, fishing, farming, and searching for places to establish a safe home. The world also contains hostile survivors, infected wildlife, changing weather, and environmental dangers, while vehicles allow you to travel farther and transport supplies as you explore the remnants of civilization.
Survival revolves around crafting, base building, character development, and managing your resources. You can customize your survivor with different professions, perks, skills, weapons, and gear, then build and fortify a safehouse with defenses such as electrified fences and concrete barricades. Vehicles can also be upgraded with armor, weapons, and additional storage, while different zeek variants require you to adapt your combat strategy. HumanitZ supports solo play, online co-op, and PvE or PvP multiplayer, with dedicated servers and proximity voice chat, making it possible to survive the apocalypse alone or with friends.
