Nightmare Frontier is a turn-based tactical RPG that blends extraction-style progression with survival in a twisted version of the American West. After answering a newspaper advertisement promising untold riches, you lead a crew of Scavengers into a ruined city where nightmares have taken physical form as terrifying creatures known as Dreadweavers. Every expedition is a gamble—you’ll search abandoned districts for valuable loot, battle horrific enemies, and decide whether to press deeper into the city or escape before the growing danger claims your entire team. The farther you venture, the greater the rewards, but every extra step raises the Nightmare Level and makes survival increasingly uncertain.

Back at your hideout, the supplies and strange materials recovered during each raid become the key to future success. You can upgrade weapons, craft unusual equipment, rescue new Scavengers, and strengthen your crew before setting out again. Each character carries their own fears, attracting different types of Dreadweavers and adding another strategic layer to every encounter. Combining tactical combat, roguelite progression, and high-risk extraction mechanics, Nightmare Frontier rewards careful planning just as much as bold decision-making, making every successful escape feel like a hard-earned victory.
