Teardown is a physics based heist game where almost everything around you can be destroyed. You play as a demolition expert who takes on increasingly complicated jobs involving buildings, vehicles, security systems, and valuable objects. There is rarely just one way to complete a mission. You can smash through walls, remove doors, stack objects, drive vehicles through obstacles, or create your own path through a level before making your escape.
Planning is a big part of each job. You can explore the environment first, figure out where the targets and security systems are, then use explosives, tools, and vehicles to prepare a route before the alarm is triggered. Once the plan starts, you have limited time to grab what you need and get out. The game also includes a campaign with a variety of missions, challenges, and unlockable equipment, while sandbox and creative options give you more freedom to experiment with the destruction system. Teardown turns demolition into a gameplay mechanic, letting you solve problems by simply breaking the world apart.
