Trailmakers is a vehicle building sandbox where you can design almost anything you can imagine and then take it out into the world to see if it actually works. Using modular building blocks, you can put together cars, boats, planes, helicopters, off road vehicles, or completely strange machines of your own design. The building system is easy to pick up, but creating something that handles well takes some experimentation as you adjust engines, wheels, wings, suspension, and other parts.
Once your creation is ready, you can test it across different environments filled with ramps, mountains, water, and other obstacles. The game includes exploration, racing, challenges, and combat focused modes, giving you different reasons to keep modifying your vehicles. You can also play with friends and share your creations with the community, turning the building system into a much bigger playground. Trailmakers is at its best when you build something that should not work, make a few adjustments, and somehow end up with a machine that does exactly what you wanted.
