Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG inspired by the classic Chinese tale Journey to the West. You take on the role of the Destined One, a mysterious warrior who sets out on a dangerous journey filled with powerful creatures, ancient legends, and hidden truths. The world is shaped by Chinese mythology, with forests, mountains, ruins, and other locations hiding strange characters and formidable enemies. As you travel from one region to another, you’ll gradually uncover more about the stories and secrets surrounding the journey.
Combat focuses on staff-based martial arts combined with spells, transformations, and special abilities. The Destined One can change into different creatures and use their abilities during battle, while spells provide additional ways to attack, evade, or control enemies. Powerful bosses are a major part of the adventure, each requiring you to learn their attacks and find the right opportunities to strike. Black Myth: Wukong puts these fights at the center of its experience, with a wide range of weapons, abilities, and transformations giving you different ways to approach each encounter.
