DIVE or DIE – Children of Rain is a 2D action roguelite that drops you into the Abyssal Pool, a drowned labyrinth filled with ancient ruins, twisted sea creatures, and Lovecraftian horrors. You lead a small band of survivors under the command of Jack, a haunted man determined to save what’s left of humanity from the mysterious Black Rain and the approaching Flood. Every descent into the depths is a calculated risk, forcing you to search for food, resources, and valuable relics while deciding whether to fight the monsters lurking below or avoid them altogether. Every trip back to the surface could mean the difference between keeping your people alive or watching the camp slowly fall apart.
Survival doesn’t end when you leave the water. Between expeditions, you’ll manage your camp, recruit new survivors, upgrade equipment, and make difficult choices about who can be saved when resources become scarce. The roguelite structure ensures that no two dives unfold in exactly the same way, rewarding careful planning as much as quick reactions.
