Hollow Knight: Silksong follows Hornet, princess-protector of Hallownest, after she is captured and carried away to a strange kingdom called Pharloom. Far from her familiar home, Hornet must climb from the kingdom’s depths toward its highest reaches while trying to understand why she was brought there. Along the way, she encounters unfamiliar characters, dangerous creatures, ancient secrets, and a world shaped by its own history and traditions.
Hornet fights differently from the Knight, using her needle and thread for quick attacks, acrobatic movement, and special abilities. She can also craft tools from materials found throughout Pharloom, giving her different ways to deal with enemies and obstacles. The kingdom is filled with hidden paths, challenging bosses, quests, and places to discover, with a hand-crafted world that rewards players who take their time exploring. Hollow Knight: Silksong expands on the exploration and combat of the original while putting Hornet’s speed, agility, and distinctive fighting style at the center of the adventure.
