Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a single-player action-adventure platformer set in a mythological Persian world where time and space have been corrupted. You play as Sargon, a young member of an elite group known as The Immortals, who travels to the cursed citadel of Mount Qaf to rescue the kidnapped Prince Ghassan. Explore interconnected biomes, solve environmental puzzles, discover hidden paths and treasures, and use acrobatic movement, platforming skills, and Time Powers to reach new areas and overcome dangerous obstacles.

Combat combines fast melee attacks, aerial movement, parries, special abilities, and Time Powers that can be chained together into different combos. Mount Qaf is filled with time-corrupted enemies and powerful mythological bosses, while new abilities gradually open additional routes throughout the world. The Eye of the Wanderer system also lets you capture screenshots and pin them directly to the map, making it easier to remember blocked paths, puzzles, and locations you may want to return to later.
