BioShock 2 Remastered puts you in the role of a Big Daddy as you return to the underwater city of Rapture years after the events of the first game. Rapture has become even more dangerous, and you must explore its ruined districts while searching for answers about your past and the mysterious enemy who is pulling the strings behind the scenes. Along the way, you’ll encounter familiar faces, dangerous Splicers, Little Sisters, and the remnants of the city’s failed society.
Being a Big Daddy gives you a different way to approach combat. You can use powerful weapons such as the drill, rivet gun, and shotgun while combining them with Plasmids to create your own fighting style. Protecting Little Sisters also becomes part of the gameplay, as you defend them while they collect ADAM from corpses. The remastered edition includes high-resolution textures, updated models and interface artwork, 4K support, and the Protector Trials, which offer standalone combat challenges with different weapon and Plasmid loadouts. BioShock 2 Remastered keeps the atmospheric exploration and story-driven gameplay of Rapture while giving the original adventure a cleaner presentation for modern systems.
