Stoneshard is a challenging turn-based RPG set in a war-torn medieval world where survival is never guaranteed. You take on the life of a wandering mercenary, traveling across the open world to accept contracts, explore ruined settlements, raid dangerous dungeons, and search for valuable loot. There are no easy victories here, so every expedition requires some preparation, especially when hunger, injuries, fatigue, pain, and your character’s mental state can all become problems.
Character development is flexible, letting you experiment with more than 200 abilities and hundreds of pieces of equipment without being locked into a traditional class system. Combat is turn-based, so positioning and planning several moves ahead can make the difference between walking away from a fight and losing everything. You can also build up your caravan, recruit followers, trade goods, hunt for treasure, and improve your reputation as you travel through Aldor. Stoneshard combines tactical combat, open-world exploration, resource management, and a harsh survival system into an adventure where even a routine contract can turn into a serious fight for your life.
