ZEPHON is a post-apocalyptic 4X strategy game set on a devastated Earth where humanity is struggling to survive alongside alien horrors, mutated creatures, and broken military machines. You take control of a group of survivors and guide them through the ruins of civilization, building settlements, exploring dangerous territory, and making choices that can determine the future of your people. Three different paths — Human, Voice, and Cyber — offer different approaches to developing your faction, while branching events and leader quests add a more personal side to the campaign.
The game combines city building, research, diplomacy, and turn-based tactical combat on the same strategic map. You can develop settlements, manage 11 tiers of resources, research more than 150 technologies, and command over 50 different units, each with their own abilities and equipment. Exploration also reveals strange locations and phenomena across six different climates, while diplomacy lets you form alliances, trade, or manipulate rival factions. ZEPHON can be played solo or with others in online, LAN, and split-screen multiplayer, making it a good fit for players who enjoy 4X strategy with a heavier focus on combat and a dark science-fiction atmosphere.
